Australia’s first amphibious Aquaduck ride…experience a Gold Coast city tour and river cruise in one.

The city tour portion of the Aquaduck experience begins in the heart of Surfers Paradise on Cavill Avenue. We head out along the famous Surfers Paradise beach towards the glamour and beauty of Main Beach. Along the way we take in the Pacific Ocean, Southport Yacht Club, Marina Mirage, The Imperial Hotel (the former Palazzo Versace) and learn about the Gold Coast as we head to the Broadwater.

That’s where the Aquaduck gets to show its true colours splashing into the water for a scenic cruise of the spectacular river and Broadwater. The cruise encompasses the key sights from the water, wildlife and all the activity of one of Australia’s busiest waterways.

While on the water passengers are free to move about the Aquaduck and the children have the opportunity to drive the Aquaduck and receive a Captain's certificate.

Know Before You Go:

• Water Conditions: Visibility and marine life change with the tides and seasons; that’s the beauty of the Broadwater. This is a dynamic estuarine environment, rich in life, but different from a tropical coral reef.

• Fitness Level: Low to Moderate. This is a physical activity. Morning tours tend to be calmer and better for beginners. Afternoon sessions may be more challenging and are recommended for experienced paddlers.

• This tour is not recommended during pregnancy or if you suffer from back problems.

• Swimming Confidence & PFD Use: All guests must wear a life jacket (PFD) while kayaking and during snorkelling. You don’t need to be a strong swimmer, just comfortable being in and around the water with a life jacket on. Non-swimmers are welcome, and our guides are there to support you every step of the way.

Jump into Paradise with Gold Coast Skydive! 

Skydiving is known, for very good reason, as life's ultimate thrill. It's the big daddy, the adventure and rush by which all others are measured. Amazingly, the buzz of free fall is an easy and safe experience, especially during a tandem skydiving adventure. 

On the ground, you will meet your highly experienced tandem instructor who will get you geared up and ready for the tandem skydive. 

Your instructor will then give you a safety briefing. There are some important procedures to follow during your flight to altitude, exiting the aircraft, free fall, and landing which will make his job nice and easy.

Don’t worry if it’s your first time, Most of our customers are first-timers. Our instructors are highly qualified and jump out of planes every chance they get, some having done over 20,000 jumps. They will calm your nerves and make sure you are comfortable with everything before leaving for the airport.

Next, you will be driven to Gold Coast airport just a 5-minute drive away where you will board our Twin-engine Piper Chieftain aircraft or Cessna 182 ready for take off. On the 15-minute climb to an altitude of up to 12,000 feet, you will be able to take in the breath-taking scenery of the Gold Coast’s lush hinterland and golden coastline until you reach the “drop point”

Hanging over the edge of the plane, looking at the world below, hearing the engine of the plane revving along as your heart rate skyrockets will have you “feeling alive”!

When you exit the aircraft you will free fall at speeds of up to 220km/h with the ocean directly below you. It’s impossible to put the adrenaline punching 45 seconds into words but the feeling is supernatural!

Your instructor will open the parachute at approximately 5000ft. Coming off that extreme free fall high everything will slow down and you will be soaring through the air.

The parachute ride down to the beautiful Kirra Beach allows you to once again, take in the views of the entire Gold Coast from a different perspective before you land on the soft yellow sand.

We recommend that customers make their own way to our dive shop at Chevron Island so that they will have time to explore shops, and local area after their dive or snorkel.
Our Dive shop is a 5 min Uber ride from Surfers Paradise, and we have a free car park for customers who are driving.
